Our Perspective

This work draws from supporting learning and development initiatives across multiple organizational environments.

Our founder worked with 2U, a leading workforce education and learning and development organization, supporting leadership and training initiatives with large companies and workforce programs. Additional work has included supporting and advising teams within corporate, education, startup, and ministry environments, including organizations such as Boeing, Altair Global, Opendoor, Apartment List, Gifted Church, and Bakersfield City School District.

Across these environments, leaders often had a clear desired outcome for their organization, yet the outcome was not consistently realized in daily operations. Differences in process implementation, training application, communication, and accountability across leadership and teams created gaps between vision and execution.

Because organizations are carried by people, not only structure, these gaps often reflected how expectations were understood, reinforced, and practiced day to day.

This work focuses on helping leaders strengthen how expectations, communication, and accountability carry throughout the organization so the intended outcome becomes operational reality consistently.

Vanessa Ward

Inheritance Solutions was founded by Vanessa Ward.

Her work is grounded in a simple belief. Organizations rarely struggle because leaders lack vision. More often, the desired outcome is threatened by breakdowns in how expectations are carried, decisions are reinforced, and behavior is practiced across teams.

Vanessa approaches organizations from both a behavioral and structural perspective. She looks for the risks that quietly interfere with execution, including how direction is interpreted, how accountability is reinforced, and how processes either support or undermine the work leaders are trying to accomplish.

She believes that problems are inevitable opportunities that invite us into profitable solutions.

Her role is to provide truth, wisdom, and strategy so leaders can protect what they are building and maximize their impact.

The goal is not simply improvement, but helping what leadership intends become reality in everyday operations.

Her aim is for every organization to carry its mission into real impact for the people it serves.
